SDF Loses Another Great Mind the Former Mayor of Bamenda II
The Former Mayor of Bamenda II Council, Mr Balick Awah Fidelis died last night in his home at age 70. Militants of the Social Democratic Front (SDF) and the Bamenda II community are in Mezam are in shock of the passing away of the Mayor emeritus, Balick Awah Fidelis.
He did not take part in the last municipal and legislative elections wherein the SDF was heavily defeated by the CPDM, which is the rolling party.
Mayor Balick Awah was a development-oriented Mayor, which was seen in his introduction of the small money significant change that completely revolutionized the municipality in his tenure of office.
His death adds to a host of SDF officials from the Northwest region who have succumbed to death recently. ( Mbah Ndam, Barrister Sama Francis, SDF party Lawyer and others).
