No wonder YouTube is the second most visited website globally (after google), registering over 80 billion visits in November 2023 alone!

With more than 265k subscribers, Steve is one of the most popular Cameroonian content creators. He started by making short comedy skits but has evolved into a hub for information, entertainment, and social justice.

Steve has a massive presence in the Cameroonian social media space, and his influence keeps increasing.

2. Displore (Emmanuel Nsanyui, Douala, 600k subscribers)

The Douala-based YouTuber is arguably Cameroon’s biggest YouTuber. His Displore channel has evolved into a very informative and educational one. Content on the channel ranges from education, information, development, infrastructure, and health. What you may enjoy the most on this channel is His documentary – styled “top 10” videos, which put out the top 10 of several selected topics. In terms of following, this is still a growing channel. But my oh my! The content on this channel is so good. Chimex makes videos mostly on tourism, lifestyle, and real estate.
