Some Android users of these 3rd party apps have already begun experiencing some temporary suspensions, as their accounts have been banned for some hours.
Recently it has become a popular phenomenon to find Android users of applications like WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram etc. go for 3rd party versions of these Apps, because these 3rd party versions enable extra features and customization which are not offered in the main applications.
Thus, some few days back, in its FAQ, Facebook has warned its users of these 3rd party apps which are modified like Whatsapp Plus and GB WhatsApp that they will receive an in-app notification that their account is temporarily suspended.
The company said, “WhatsApp doesn’t support these third-party apps because we can’t validate their security practices.” Some Android users of these 3rd party apps have already begun experiencing some temporary suspensions, as their accounts have been banned for some hours.
Do not be alarmed, to solve the problem of your account being suspended, you are advised to switch your account back to the authentic application. Be sure to back up your chats and keep if you have to make use of them.
